This Omkar College of Professional Studies offers the course in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). The B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Programs aims to train teachers for the schools in the government/private sector in India. The curriculum and evaluation systems adopted by the college are similar to those used in the typical Colleges of Education. Emphasis is given to the development of domain knowledge and teaching skills. They take foundation and experiential coursework to enable them to meet the students with linguistic, cultural, learning and behavioral diversity. Amarlata Jan Seva and Saikshanik Samiti started the Omkar College of professional studies to train students into becoming useful and effective teachers for secondary schools and award the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. This College is affiliated to Jiwaji University Gwalior(M.P.) and Department of Higher Education, Bhopal(M.P.)
